The Pacer... 70's icon... along with the Gremlin, Vega , Pinto and Chevy Luv truck.... you have to throw yourself back in time to appreciate it.... 76 was the Bicentennial year !! Bell bottom pants and short shorts lol... and although those car looks are unique and funny 😁... look up some "vintage " hotrod material 👌 Those cars were at every drag race track... and STUFFED WITH THE BIGGEST MOTOR POSSIBLE... dual quads and blowers... zoomie headers... tubbed rear wheel wells and race slicks. Skinnies up front.. narrowed 9 inch Ford diff in the back . Wheelie bars... and the crowds loved them... So take a step back in time and have some fun. Go for it and build this little time capsule of fun.

Vise grip on the broken lift cylinder for the rear hatch. Doesn't get in the way and holds it secure, just don't do it without a rag on a good cylinder. Love the episodes with Demri and Hillbilly!

Those 5 mph bumpers came about because of cars like my 71 Malibu had rear bumpers attached directly to the body. If anyone even tapped the rear bumper it buckled the quarter panels. So the gooberment got involved & that claptraption was their solution. Bolting bumpers to directly to bodies was one of those good ideas that didn't work out real well lol!
