Mathew Dick damn man that really is a shame. I assumed all these new ones were much higher quality. The original was so bare bones yet so perfect. Painted my pick guard and knobs and slapped a Seymour Duncan jb in the bridge

Flamed maple cap? It's a veneer, anyone saying different, just look at the pics on Thomann. Even this one has a flamed veneer over a plain maple cap.. (The ML3 Pro Semi Hollow)

Hey ! I like to unburry some old videos, and btw I was wondering if a baritone version of the ML3 SH traditional could be a thing ? It would be so freakin' cool. Also, I found the prototype headstock so much beautiful, that baked maple is killer, it's a shame to hid it under a flame maple cap. Keep rockin', Chap' !

Needs new pots and electrical issues, frets filed, polished and crowned, necks are a mess, pick ups missing, new ones called fixer uppers. Btw that’s not the point. Hey Rob Chapman. Do you still use a Kemper from time to time ? I am thinking about killing two birds with one stone. Get a Victory amp ( V30 MK II) and also use it to power my Kemper by running the Kemper into the FX return to from time to time. Though I probably will not like my Kemper as much once I get a Victory amp.

Keep in mind: Baked necks are cheaper than having stored the maple until it has the right ammount of moisture and does not shrink anymore.

Are you not nervous that Gibson will come after you for the Explorer/Ghost fret similarities?

The ghost frets body shape is a lot different than a Gibson explorer. It’s smaller, much more pointy, and not as long. The headstock shape is completely different as well. And it doesn’t use a tune o matic style bridge. Robs got nothing to worry about lol. Dean is still producing their “z” so I doubt they are concerned about Gibson’s petty nonsense either.

Mathew Dick anyone who sells a guitar and then asks for some kind of support is doing it wrong. What do you think they’re going to do? All they have is you spamming the KZbin comments section talking about how the neck was set wrong resulting in a string tree coming off. That’s not even how that works. But that’s ok, you can show us...oh wait, you don’t even have the guitar anymore. Why would you accept a guitar center repair and then sell the guitar when you were owed a new one? Tell them no, talk to a manager, and exchange the damned thing. You’re not the only person to ever get a lemon from guitar center. You are the only person I’ve ever witnessed trying to get compensation AFTER SELLING a guitar you were unhappy with.

That was how Guitar Center shipped the guitar to you? It was like that right out of the box? Without being able to see your guitar in person, I can only say that Guitar Center was the most likely reason for the damage, not Chapman itself. Like I said, all four of mine were prefect right out of the box. I credit that to the fact that I bought all of them from Riff City Guitars.
