the last portion of your video ( front view ) that defines where the trail arm should stop, is something I found very important ...as I always seem to be pushing or blocking my shots to the right of target.....and that might be the cause !!!...thanks much .....

I also appreciated the front on view with the arm 20 degrees across the chest. I also noticed the face matched the spine angle like at P2.

Wonderful Drill to feel the click of a consistent compression. Do you have a drill that helps me to get from there to a complete finish? Would you recommend to play on the course with this 90. finish?

Hello Rob, thank you, probably one of your best video. Perfect when syncho is lost (twice a month.....) I wish I would have a tip like that for full swings, but difficult for my brain to apply these in bigger swings, missing checkpoints

Again terrific, love the structured grip finish position, but I may even prefer the "Hit hard/Stop quick" though, as it promotes the lag to/through impact producing compression without steepness. I also like concept of where the shallow divot starts, AND FINISHES. TYVM.

Yes, yes yes. This gives you that Fleetwood, Stricker, Zach Johnson half shot control. You can transform approach play on the course, I use this 90 90 90 style finish almost exclusively from 120yds in and the accuracy once distances are calibrated in breathtaking.

Rob, Thank you. Recovering from knee replacement I'm making a recovery program for my game in August. A buddy sent me a link to your wrists video. I'm so impressed with your approach. Indeed, my "recovery 2023" you tube list consists entirely of your material (the 90-90-90 drill, how the wrists work, swing hard stop fast and a few more). I thought I understood the basic mechanics, but I think now that my body awareness has been defective and that I can improve ball striking dramatically using your drills. Officially now a big fan, Thanks again, JP

I know this video is over a year old however I just found it. I must say this is one of the best drills I have ever done. Just having the image of getting to that position changed the way my body moved from backswing to follow through. Hitting the center of the club was quite easy after the first few attempts!!!

Thank you Rob. Great reminder. For me, I need to feel like I start turning my hips / body at the start of the downswing if I want to be at that end point on the follow through. This is tough to duplicate that on the course. Anyway, thx again for all this.

Interesting. I was working on my finish last evening following your other newer "Build The Perfect Finish" video and this is the finish position I naturally ended up in...versus having my wrists cocked upwards. When I attempted to include a wrist hinge at the end, which felt a little forced and unnatural if I am being honest, my arms would break down as you showed here...something I really want to avoid. You are spot on though... just having a good finish position gave my swing some needed structure. I can't over state how much these two finishing drills, paired with the Hit Hard Stop Short drill, have worked to transform my ball striking and fluidness of my swing in general. Thanks as always brother and thanks for referencing this video in the other one too.

Completely agree with the importance of this. I especially like the front view and angle of trail arm at 20 degrees on follow-through. I have started to use some version of this when game goes off the rails during a round and am finding that it "fixes" whatever I was doing wrong, which is clearly some problem with radius management. Thanks for posting.👍 As for your brief comments about using this technique with shorter shots, I read where Hogan always knew he was going to win when his competitor only knew how to hit a full shot with his wedge. 🙂

Great to join you Rob. I've learned so much before the start of the season (in the UK). The major problem I have, which seems to be in my DNA, is the inability to watch the ball, as it's being hit - even while fully conscious and with the fullest of intension. Could you please comment. While I have your attention, could you please comment on swing timing, is it 1,2 - 1, or 1,2,3 - 1? Cheers, Roger

Rob, Very helpful video. According to your explanations, I have already practiced in the range. My golf balls go much higher and dead straight and continue straight, however about 4meters to the left of target. I have placed the balls closer to my trail foot (I am RH) but they continue to go straight to the left.

Rob, if I were in Singapore I would visit you and pay you to ask this question. It relates to rounded or hunched shoulders at address that just seems to restrict the swing, back & through. Have you ever produced a video on this subject as I recently noticed poor golfers I play with along with myself having this issue where the shoulders look as though they are pulling down and in together. If I think about it and pull the shoulders back at address, it seems to be a much freer swing but this something I have never done. I hope you don't mind me mentioning this as its an aspect of the swing that I have never given thought to until this week. Might be one one for a video - Yes, No, Yes 🤨

You do not stand up. The logical fallacy of this obvious. If you stand up as you swing, you are increasing the radius. If it is after as it has to be, it is far less relevant. Standing up through the swing would require a dropping of the wrists to add back radius. As always the conglomeration of components you “teachers” add is a progression of confusion
