Fascinating. This was one of those discussions that connects important dots in history and fleshes out life in the 17th century. I can get so involved in the history of theology and the church that I have no true idea of the reality of life in those times and societies. Dr Davis is so well-studied that he is a treasure of knowledge. In googling his writing's and works, I see that p he exists in academic circles otherwise inaccessible to the average Christian, yet his quite involved in sharing when invited. I hope he will be returning. He is one of those professors any student or aspiring scholar would be blessed to sit under.

He could do a course, yes? So many scientists had a biblical worldview. For the Uber geeks listening, Peter Harrison wrote the book, “The Fall of Man and the Foundations of Science,” wherein he argues that it was the early natural philosophers understanding of the Adamic fall which drove the scientific revolution. Cool stuff!!
