Same thing happened to my great grandmother while praying in the church for the soul of her recently departed husband. The Red Army soldiers dragged her, the priest and everyone out of the church, lined them up against the wall to be executed for an anti-revolutionary activity. One of the soldiers recognized my great grandmother and talked to his superior officer. She was the only one they didn't execute.
