When his friend Terrence Howard needed his help staying on the ironman franchise, he fell short. which is even more foul when you consider that at that time Downey jr was being blackballing by Hollywood, (as he states in this speech). Howard passed it forward and campaigned for Robert to get the role of Tony Stark. even taking a price cut so that he would get the role... but when the time came for Robert to return the favor, he chose not to pass it forward. Which is why he is just another Hollywood whore, whose humility/loyalty are non-existent, and it is questionable whether Mel should have even wasted his time.

Works for some(and most I've met who have become clean through it have become almost zealots, I use cos of my mental health is a mess and am schizophrenic, I reached out to a friend who had been clean for a while through AA and told him I felt suicidal and needed someone clean to talk to, he said he couldn't talk to an active user and I've had many similar experiences with NA and AA

It’s is very real possibility. Changing one’s life. I know how hard it was. A survivor of childhood abuse. Tool away everything I had. Stripped everything to the sole. And slowly rebuilt myself to be better. People stop when they think their ok. They don’t need anymore counselling. They stop because of the pain of reliving it all.
