I am a retired barber… i have a son with autism .. this is the reason I retired.. when he was born we found out at the age of 2 he had autism.. he could say some words.. but only repeat back what you said to him… that’s when we knew something was wrong…no one would take care of him.. no daycare.. no baby sitters.. nothing.. at the time my wife was working at a casino ( still does ) and she had better insurance.. so we talked about it then I decided retired and became a full time stay at home daddy..best thing I ever did with my life… as my son grew up and we sent him to private pre-school… they didn’t have the knowledge nor did they want to take the time with my son.. we got extremely lucky when the sped case worker saw we were struggling with him at school and told us to get him into public school.. if not for this school I don’t think my son would be able to talk today… but he feared things like hair cuts.. so I used to make deals with him that I would let him cut my hair if he let me cut his… now he lets me cut his hair no problem…we still struggle with things…I am still a full time stay at home dad… I will never change that.. and oh.. my youngest son love iron man… we are a huge marvel family …they grew up on daddy loving comics and Iron Man .. I have the original double sided Iron Man movie poster from my theater we had framed that hangs in our entryway of our home… My 8 year old would go nuts if he met Iron Man…
