Thank you for sharing this with your subscribers. This 1944 work was first performed publicly in April 1945 by Kathleen Parlow and Leo Barkin in a CBC national network broadcast. As both Robert Fleming's literary executor and his biographer I have for several years been seeking to secure a copy of both the original version of this sonata and this the shortened version. There does not appear to be a copy of the work in Miss Parlow's fonds d'archive, and Mr. d'Albert lost all of his manuscripts as the result of a fire at his home in Budapest. This is one of several missing Fleming manuscripts that I am very anxious to locate.
