This is a wonderful resource. Thank you for sharing. It's interesting how as educators, we always apply elements of Gagne's assumption in instruction without being conscious of the fact.

Gagne identifies five major categories of learning: verbal information, intellectual skills, cognitive strategies, motor skills and attitudes. the theory outlines nine instructional events and corresponding cognitive processes: Gaining attention (reception) Informing learners of the objective (expectancy) Stimulating recall of prior learning (retrieval) Presenting the stimulus (selective perception) Providing learning guidance (semantic encoding) Eliciting performance (responding) Providing feedback (reinforcement) Assessing performance (retrieval) Enhancing retention and transfer (generalization).

Cute animation at 0:42, but that is the outline of Germany today, not during WWII, when most of the southern coast of the Baltic Sea was German (and today's Russian Kaliningrad was German's Königsberg)
