Everyone talks about how Robert is so much like his dad and how his dad would be so proud, but I really think we should all stop and give some thanks to Terri. She's clearly done an AMAZING job of raising her kids to be the wonderful and happy people they are. They have such a great spirit, and yes, Robert is so much like his dad. But a lot of that probably comes from probably comes from Terri nurturing that aspect of his personality!

I'm sure he fights with his mom like any other kid. But when he's presenting and teaching people about animals he really wants to do it well and be a good presenter, including being polite. Actually most teenagers I meet are very polite and respectful. It's mostly their parents and teachers they fight with a lot! But they still have a polite side.

It's really cool to see how much more comfortable Jimmy has gotten with Robert and his animals over the years. Even with Jimmy's panic moments with certain animals, I feel that he really appreciates how fascinating it all is... especially with the birds! He was so enthusiastic about meeting the toucan (Tyler) haha notice how he tells Robert at 6:40 "you are the coolest, thank you again" as they're walking across the stage in order to see the toucan fly. If I were him, I'd run out of the room if I saw a tarantula or cockroach haha but it really is so cool to see all these animals!

In his defense, this is from the National Aviary website: Blue feathers are unique because they are not directly produced by pigment. Instead, the blue colors we see come from the interaction among light, a feather’s microstructure, air spaces, and underlying melanin pigments (melanins are dark brown to black). These combine in a way that scatters visible light so that we see blue wavelengths reflected from the feather’s surface. If you were to crush a blue feather, disrupting the microstructure and the way light reflects off of it, it would appear black. tl;dr The feathers aren't blue in pigment, but the structure of the feathers scatter light in a way that make them appear blue. ❤️
