Joe thanks for that. Really like ur stuff. I had thought the open E was plucked........Just curious, the next chord, moved up one fret with the pinky on the 1st string 5th fret, what's the plucking there? I'm just thinking......playing 5 strings including the open A, yet on your video it sounds really smooth.

He Joe what a great song this is . cant quite get the sound right for (e ?) at the end of the intro. perhaps you can help. great lesson
@JoeMurphysGuitarlessons9 жыл бұрын
Rod Will Hey Rod, Ok, so if i'm understanding you correctly. Going into the E, pluck 3rd & 6th string at same time, then hammer first finger onto 3rd string first fret then first string open that's the thin one, by this point you should have E major chord then just ad little finger to 2nd string 3rd fret. I hope that makes sense, its the best I can do. I was going to do do a live lesson via you tube to answer any questions etc, but a. I don't know how to do it ! and b. I would have to have a lot of people interested, as I don't get lots of free time..
@asdfg60059 жыл бұрын
Joseph Murphy Thanks Joe thats perfect,makes sense. By the way your previous advice to choose something you know well worked for me.I worked thru your lesson on Alberta (eric clapton ) and have now got it working that it actually sounds like music. Thanks for that. Robert Johnson might be above my skill level at this stage but Ive got it sounding pretty good in the intro. Thanks for your time Rod
