Interesting thing I noticed in my research is that in one video on here of Son House talking about Robert, he says that RJ couldn't play worth spit until he went to Arkansas for about 6-9 months, and when he came back he could play his ass off. However, in the book "Deep Blues" by Robert Palmer, it's written that RJ actually returned home to Hazlehurst in south MS (not Arkansas) during that period of time, married an older woman and took guitar lessons under Ike Zinneman (so there was no devil).
