The part where he talks about how us as a society would forgive a person for murder before we forgive them for attention seeking really caught my attention. I'm 26 and I've been acquainted with Dr. Moore and Robert Bly's work for a couple years now - I thought I heard Bly ask a question. Thank you. I understand the power of myth and am searching for my own. Again, thank you.

WOW. Mind blowing, Mr Robert Moore. I am a Sikh who loves Rumi(sufi). When you mentioned Horse sacrifice early on,I thought about the Hindu sacrifice...It is AMAZING how you weaved this thought with the powerful brahmin caste system and the treatment of women to this day. 21st century.....wow. You are brilliant!!!

Offer your grandiosity as a sacrifice and your power will increase. and you'll have more to offer to others.

Some people are so afraid of the sacrifice that they try to invent a substitutional sacrifice and offer something, so that it would count. It does not work that way. The conflicts will show you your dragon. And in the conflict you will have to discern who is who and what your part in any conflict is. Your righteousness is the dragon so often.

I find that it's not that elder wisdom is in decline, but rather, through social conditioning, elder wisdom is being declined; sold or perceived as outdated and illogical/irrational. My own teacher has been Neville Goddard, and I am staggered by the lack of awareness of his message, his understanding and insights into the ancient language and spiritual teachings, especially (with regard to this lecture), the second birth and nature of sacrifice. Well worth seeking out; www.realneville.com.

Great talk . The guy at 45 min made the perfect point. It's about it . It's not about you. The you are only a channel for it. Stay connected to the it and your grandiosity will not arise. The thing is for most of us it's very hard to listen to it every time. Hence I'm still a smoker. .... I just did it again typing the above sentence while all the time it was not wanting me to type it. Hope that made sense

The point is IT"S not YOU. You think YOU are smoking!! Please read Rumi translated by Coleman Barks. I like to remember a few lines from one of his poem where he writes: How we act Freely and are yet compelled. Who are we then? Nothing just God's creative action. That's the illusion of separation. Like a programmed toy thinks it's x y z. or a cell phone receiving data from a tower. Where does the compulsion to smoke comes from? Fighting and Peacefulness BOTH take place with in God. The 2 sides of God. One side can't exist without the other. Everything is relative.

#2 reply. And it's not up to you to break this illusion of separation. It was intentionally created to play this game - Who is playing this grand game? Elon Musk also agrees - Do we live in a simulated virtual world. In my own religion - the illusion can be broken with Guru's merci. Guru is not necessarily a human - can be thoughts relayed to you .

A guy speaks at 45 minute mark about offering up his gift each moment and Robert calls it a good attempt. It sounded like more than an attempt to me, but an actual ability to do the dance. Why did Robert dismiss this guys comment as an attempt?
@FuncraftVideos5 жыл бұрын
Probably because he didn't have information about the results of this attempt.

That was Terrence Real, who he acknowledges again a few minutes later as having felt these energies. What you hear as a dismissal, I hear as Moore acknowledging Real's attempting to find his own way as we all are, to reconcile dealing with grandiosity. To me, Moore is acknowledging that he is on the path and trying to be authentic in bis reconciliation, and as an example ofnwhat we all have to "attempt to do" as men, if we want what's real and true in the end. Real is a peer, and highly experienced with this work as a men's therapist as you might already know. His talk on grandiosity and shame is really profound and was helpful for me.
