Saw Robert Plant at Merlefest in Wilkesboro, NC in 2011. Yes, the Rock God performed at one of the biggest Bluegrass festivals in the US. He's a humble guy. Gave credit to Ms. Krauss for teaching him a new way of singing. He also talked about his love of Americana, Appalachian music and how he choose THE best Bluegrass musicians to tour with him. I loved him even more.

@@darkcwboy Yes, me too! I saw that earlier today when I was checking out Robert Plant's website about any updates for his new tour schedule. It makes mention of that when it said that no U.S. tour dates have been scheduled saying one of the possible delays is that Robert and Alison are working on a new album together. Check out his website. Yep, I love them both! I will soon be 71 years old and started playing guitar when I was 12 years old. I grew up in the wilds of Kentucky and when there were festivals of any kind ( like Possum Day or whatever ) all the pickers would come out of the mountains to play. So when I started playing guitar, that's how I learned, by standing in front of them and watching what they were doing. Those old pickers were great. If it had strings they could play it! My favorite genre is Rock, but I love any music if it's good. By watching those guys way back then, I developed a picking style that most other Rock guitarists didn't do. That is, using a flat pick held between the thumb and 1st finger and then picking with the other fingers. Or simply not using any picks at all and just pure finger picking. But years later that style was discovered by other Rock guitarists like Jeff Beck among others.

If you've ever seen Alison live, which I have been privileged to several times, she is self-admittedly a bit of a nerd in the body of a beautiful woman who happens to have the voice of an angel and is an incredible musician and performer, plus producer in the studio. Quite an enigma. Plant is a legend for good reason and I grew up loving Zeppelin with his brand of genius. And we get to see T-Bone taking a bow with that tasty solo, he is usually low key, behind the scenes so that's fun too. I knew this song and album but have never seen this music video until now, it's really great, thank you people who run Alison's YT Channel for posting this.

Was glad to see Robert Plant go to a genre of music he loved and to the best in that field with Alisson Krauss. Would have loved another album with other bluegrass greats. They did a great album.

These two are magic together. I dont care who thinks who taught who what.He is an amazing singer who put zep on the map big time.His range etc... They inspire each other. Id have gone to the concert ,but the$$$ for the not so great seats just too much.Not about affording about choosing not to pay like that. Love them ..

Did I see T bone Burnett there on the guitar. Robert Plant and Allison Krause are a very good match for this rockabilly song. I already knew that Robert Plant liked this type of music. Allison Krause has the voice of angel and it worked well in this song along with Robert Plant. being as I really like rockabilly music for me this is AWESOME.
