Robert is still out touring and has a huge solo career which began with the release of his first solo album in 1982 (this is from his second solo album “The Principals of Moment”), the best solo career of the former LZ members. Great song for the road, just jack it up on the road but beware of your speed, got a few tickets listening to this one back in the day! The year is 1983 and you may have pulled this from my comment on Cutting Crew a few days ago. Don’t much like the video here but the song is fire! Big Log is a direct referral to the journal long haul truckers keep on the road for those who can’t figure out the title meaning. Robert had experienced great losses in his life before he wrote this, death of a son, death of a best friend (John Bonham) and a divorce... you hit on the vibe perfectly. More Robert songs… here are just a few: “In The Mood” (1983), “Other Arms” (1993), "Please Read The Letter” (2008), “If I Were A Carpenter” (1993), “Little By Little” (1985), “Heaven Knows” (1988), and “I Believe” (written about his son Karac who died at 5 in 1977 - released in 1993).

Don't forget his SIX Grammy awards for his collab with bluegrass queen Alison Krauss and legendary producer TBone Burnett. Their 2 albums (Raising Sand and Raising the Roof) are well worth checking out.

His solo career is a great rabbit hole. Ty for reaction! I suggest "Pink & Black" from his album Shaken n Stirred. Robbie Blunt on guitar. Smooth. Plant has masterfully evolved and aged well.

I haven’t really delved into Plants solo career, I just miss the other guys way to much. Though I’ve listened to songs from Celebration Day, with Bonham’s son Jason playing the drums, I feel like I’m cheating on the four GODS Of MUSIC! The four of them were like, four parts of one musician, no other band has ever come close to their greatness. Thank you for your reaction.

Can you please react to the band IMMINENCE from Sweden. It’s metalcore with violins in it, sometimes called Violincore. Lead singer Eddie Berg plays violin while singing and screaming. Harald Barrett is lead guitar and vocals, Alex Arnoldsson is rhythm guitar, Peter Hanström is the drummer, Christian Höijer is the bassist.
