Raising Sand is a collaborative studio album by Plant and bluegrass-country singer Alison Krauss. I was 13 years old when I first heard Bobby Darin's version of Tim Hardin's "If I was a Carpenter". My brother played it so much that I studied the lyrics and sang it all the time. It was 1993 when I first heard Robert Plants version along with the video. It took me to another place and now at 70 it's still my favorite. The best part of it was that anytime my wife was in a bad mood, I'd grab her by her hands and sing it to her while we slow danced. RIP Honey 💓

(Not all 10 girls did this, & they regretted it) So, I saw L.Z. 3 times. 2 times when I was 14, & once when I was 16 yrs. old. Then they were gone. : ( This was in Dallas/Ft.Worth. I live in Boulder CO. now, & I only went back to Texas to see my parents. When I had Facebook, friends I had not seen, or talked to in 35 YEARS. Contacted me, & wanted 1 of the L.Z. Ticket-Stubs that they threw-down. I was picking them up, & saying:"HEY, you guys WE just saw something very special!" "This CONCERT is potentially historic!"(I have premonitions) I also have the $5.00 Program, & the $5.00 T-Shirt,(I have never wore), & lots of the $7.50 TICKET-STUBS! What were they thinking? I'd haul that stuff around W/ me for 40 yrs., & then send it to them? I have attended 100's of concerts, & saved ALL the Ticket-Stubs.(I unfortunately got so WASTED at some, & forgot it all, & I regret it)

One of the best! Plant was asked once in an interview back in the 70s, who in his opinion currently was the best rock singer. "Hands down, Steve Marriott." was his answer, despite the massive fame of Zeppelin and all the cocain back then. He could easily have said "well, you are sitting in front of him" and no one would have blamed him.
