Cozy was a really great drummer, and one of the best of all time! He was considered as an actual replacement for John Bonham in Led Zeppelin when Bonham died! That tells you a lot about his skill as a drummer! I saw him live as the drummer for Whitesnake when they opened up for Dio at Irvine Meadows amphitheatre back in 1984! Music has totally changed in this day and age, compared to what it used to be when I was growing up in the 60's and 70's, and I believe your comment about the rubbish of today is 100% correct! Type in on You Tube, "The Jeff Beck Group" - 'Morning Dew' and 'Going Down' and see Powell in action from the early days! It's some really good stuff!
