@@robertcarli1969 Robert Plant and Cozy Powell on Tiswas (1981) 0247am 2.11.22 at least they got the stars on that tawdry and ad hoc show. even if it was too bloody early for most of 'em to comprehend what was going on...i wasn't particularly allowed to watch this tiswas thing. no idea why. and it shows!! you can tell those who weren't tiswas aficionados - they sit in corners in pubs and grimace at folk or try to get jobs with the civil service even though they're well past that level of spite, they lifeless sporrans of cynicism and have no time for the joys of others. they harbour grudges like fleas. they stink!!! they just end up becoming would-be sophisticates... the only thing i will say, in a tiswas-less life's favour - is that they, the absentee-ists, never suffered from acne as youths. noel edmonds has something about him which has the child shun spots and worries about gurls or homework... it is to my life's detriment that i never saw this show, tiswas, in it's entirety. just as i allus fell asleep before the porno based animation was aired via O.T.T (the adult version of tiswas)... how one gets to see aspects of O.T.T and then is forced to forgo tiswas as a youth - who knows... safe to say if yer watched m.o.t.d then yer were safe - as that cancelled out most aspects of televisual woes. as for the beauties of cozy and plant - no comment. the wonders of the band member passed me by. i am not one for mooning over pop or rock stars. they may as well have paper bags on their heads for all i care about their comeliness. 1981? i would have been 9 years of age - it was my tiser and crisps stage of life. p.s are folk still allowed to perv over sally james? p.p.s the sooty and sweepshow also managed to get strange, incongruous stars to enter the fray... light entertainment is and odd cove. pity they've nigh-on killed it.
