I like listening to the man sing, but I also respect his sensibility; he's not stuck in the past, as many of his contemporaries are...

Robert seems like a very humbled artist these days . .and I'm so pleased that he resisted the idea of a LZ reunion tour . .

I love following stuff that stirs me. He's been stirrin' it up for such a sweet long time. It's like he takes his musical journey and tosses it into a dynamic blender and pours us another wonderful musical cocktail...

+Dolly Trimble Exactly! I've been listening to him for 45 years or so and it shines a new light on his very early work to see how the wheels are always turning for him. If you see some of his very early Zeppelin interviews there's the same sensibility but it was easy back then to dismiss his thoughtfulness by confusing it with the bluster and bravado of youth... which it obviously wasn't. After all, look what Zeppelin accomplished with him as one of the two main songwriters in the group.

He was self.mocking when he said that...or taking the piss as theBrits say. He has never taken the the whole rock circus that he was a part of too seriously. But the music itself? Dead serious about that
