@@Afurthyclays I never heard Jonn Serrie before, thanks for this. My other three would be Oöphoi, Szymon Kaliski, and Alio Die. The album Alio Die did with Robert Rich is particularly good. His collaborations with Saffron Wood and Lingua Fungi are also excellent. Side-eye here to William Basinski, who I listen to more than any of these people but I really shouldn't.

I’ve never heard of Robert rich before coming across this but I’m gonna look for more. I love ambient music and there’s a lot out there that is just dull rehashing of the same stuff but this has a different feel. There is just enough melody to engage but enough space for you to drift and fill in with your own thoughts and pictures. Loving this

He has some more active albums like Neurogenesis and Filaments. There's even a computer animated dvd with surround sound called Atlas Dei. Plus some drone-y 7 hour sleep albums like Somnium. He uses just intonation tuning. "Coils" could almost be a hit single. He even sang with a band called Amoeba.

Love the whole piece, but specialy the last part from 49' til the end. Great work ! I love to alternate this music with even darker pieces (such Daikan, Permafrost or Nuuk from Thomas Köner), it's like a very deep, slow and meditative breathing (Köner : the air goes out, Rich : it comes back slowly... It's a bit strange to describe, but that's the way I feel it).
