Thanks for the info. From what I've seen he had a flair for comedy.

Interesting seeing Bob Ridgely using his "higher register" voice. I'm one of a generation of kids who--in addition to living ing Gino's territory in Alexandria, VA in the early 80s--were familiar with his more authoritative baritone voice as heard in titutlar characters in cartoons like Tarzan, Flash Gordon, and especially THUNDARR the Barbarian.

Second burger ad for Ridgely - he was in the famous McDonald's commercial with the dancing employees (with Anson Williams & John Amos)

Around the same time as this----Geno's featured Muhammad Ali in a commercial. Same music track too. I wish someone would post that one.

Everyone LOOK at the size of that burger- TINY! Not big enough for 3 people like today's fast food burger!

@pardyhardly Yep, that's how it was back then. I remember seeing KFC commercials in the early 80s, but in Alexandria, you had to go to the Gino's on Duke STreet to get KFC.

@Odawg96 I remember when Gino's was the only place around that sold Kentucky Fried Chicken. I still sometimes call a KFC "Gino's".
