@@captain2ahab Thats true. It's a game where people care only about themselves and their career on both sides. Similar to how investigators who work for CDC or WHO spend a decade investigating big pharma and their practices and in the later parts of their career make a switch and land lucrative positions iin those same pharmaceutical companies they previously investigated. The companies pay them handsomely as they not only uncover to the bosses the tactics the CDC and WHO use in investigations, but also use their government contacts to get around regulation and fast track drug approval. Michael Moor talks about it in his documentary sicko. It's a revolving door system. The Justice system works the same way. Young prosecutors spend a couple of years gaining experience and advancing their careers by working for local and state governments and later make a switch into private practice where they charge a hefty price to defend criminals using all their contacts and utilising tricks they picked up working as prosecutors in the Justice System. Although maybe legal, these revolving door systems are morally as corrupt as it gets.

I believe OJ is guilty. However if the glove did fit, what difference would that make? There are Millions of people that wear an extra large glove. The prosecution had nothing to gain by OJ putting on the glove. Im pretty sure the glove fits OJs hand but still it shows nothing. I think most people are smart enough to realize that there are several factors which can make a glove not fit or seem to not fit an individual. If I were a juror in this case, the glove demonstration would have meant absolutely nothing. The “if it doesn’t fit you must acquit” I thought was completely stupid from the beginning... it was irrelevant. And yes I am a black male...

The fact that the glove appeared somewhat snug or whatever wasn't in itself the jaw-dropping Perry Mason moment many choose to remember as such. That's exactly what some jurors have said. The glove thing isn't what led to acquittal. But it was so foolish of the prosecution. The defense never claimed the gloves didn't fit. Everyone assumed the gloves would fit. Even at least one juror did.

A polygraph test should have been done under controlled circumstances. Why polygraph's are not used to determine innocence or guilt is beyond me. Trying to sit a bunch of human beings in a courtroom (all who have different opinions) and getting a judge to reinforce the point that they cannot allow bias to enter their minds when deciding the verdict is ridiculous. Humans don't work that way. Besides that, in the UK (not sure about America) but here, you get a letter in the mail saying you have been summoned for jury duty and you have to take time out of your life, be away from those you love, deal with the burden of sentencing an innocent human being or letting a criminal go free - all for nothing. No money. So, why don't they bring in technology that errases human fallacies rather than continuing with a trial by jury method which is not reliable. I wouldn't trust anyone to be a juror for me if I was on trial for a felony. You don't trust people. They are all individuals and they think differently and often peer pressure and tiredness and annoyance gets the better of jurors and they just agree with everyone else to get home quicker. That's not fair and it's unjust in a civilised country.

Even I don't see the point in putting ordinary citizens on the jury, these people have little to no knowledge of the law and legal concepts, they are filled with biases, and people from different social classes, ethnic backgrounds, levels of education, income will often understand things in different ways.
