@@captain2ahab Thats true. It's a game where people care only about themselves and their career on both sides. Similar to how investigators who work for CDC or WHO spend a decade investigating big pharma and their practices and in the later parts of their career make a switch and land lucrative positions iin those same pharmaceutical companies they previously investigated. The companies pay them handsomely as they not only uncover to the bosses the tactics the CDC and WHO use in investigations, but also use their government contacts to get around regulation and fast track drug approval. Michael Moor talks about it in his documentary sicko. It's a revolving door system. The Justice system works the same way. Young prosecutors spend a couple of years gaining experience and advancing their careers by working for local and state governments and later make a switch into private practice where they charge a hefty price to defend criminals using all their contacts and utilising tricks they picked up working as prosecutors in the Justice System. Although maybe legal, these revolving door systems are morally as corrupt as it gets.

I believe OJ is guilty. However if the glove did fit, what difference would that make? There are Millions of people that wear an extra large glove. The prosecution had nothing to gain by OJ putting on the glove. Im pretty sure the glove fits OJs hand but still it shows nothing. I think most people are smart enough to realize that there are several factors which can make a glove not fit or seem to not fit an individual. If I were a juror in this case, the glove demonstration would have meant absolutely nothing. The “if it doesn’t fit you must acquit” I thought was completely stupid from the beginning... it was irrelevant. And yes I am a black male...

The fact that the glove appeared somewhat snug or whatever wasn't in itself the jaw-dropping Perry Mason moment many choose to remember as such. Far more significant, if you'll recall, was during closing arguments, when Mr. Simpson's silver-tongued attorney worked it into a childish nursery rhyme for retarded jurors.
@slickrick2420
@slickrick2420 7 ай бұрын
That's exactly what some jurors have said. The glove thing isn't what led to acquittal. But it was so foolish of the prosecution. The defense never claimed the gloves didn't fit. Everyone assumed the gloves would fit. Even at least one juror did.

'Your Honor we are ready for trial.The judge looks at Marcia Clark and says, 'Call your first witness. I saw the blood come out of her face. I knew from that day on there would be no conviction'. That is a fine observation. Marcia Clark was not prepared. Shapiro speaks in such a deep, resonant voice. The real thing is much better than John Travolta's film. Nonfiction is better than fiction-a rule of thumb for me.

This guy is a good lawyer, but his judgement is askew I think. If I may, look at his track record with his two sons. Both spoiled -- with one dying of an overdose. I remember the other one being on CNN (Larry King Live) back in the day recently after his brother's death. He was an especially damaged soul, seemed like. Im a mess, too, but.....given that he's rich with this guy's pedigree, I'm sure that he makes it better than the average person with his frailty does. Talk about unfair! His wife Linell (I've heard) has had a lifelong habit of being hateful and snotty as well (although her hubby represents murderers, rapists and child molesters ONLY FOR TOP DOLLAR). It's like she's the brunette version of a woman named Lea Black! That has to explain why their kids went south, too.

the only way we will ever find out what we really know is true is if oJ admits to it but most people black and white when asked think he probably did it but I have more important things to think about like will The Cardinals make the playoffs

o J that piece of trash .i saw that mini series.he is so guilty.. that know one should even have to argue about it good lawyers and a stacked jury is the only reason he got off if the gloves don't fit you must acquit what a bunch of s*** Johnny Cochran got him off can't blame Johnny he did what lawyers are hired to do by this time now I hope his children realized he did it and don't even send letters to him in jail this used to be my hero I try not to even think about him it really gets me crazy even a doctor I was seeing i had a conversation with him he said to me Ron goldmans homosexual boyfriend did it I got in such an argument with the doctor I called him names and he asked me to find another doctor which I was glad to do so that is enough about that poor excuse for a human being. I was so happy when he got put back in jail. And let's not talk about him again

@@thomasrose38 the problem is that so many people like OJ. everyone that has met him said that he is very friendly and charismatic. That's also one of the reasons he got off. He was previously friends with the police and they only questioned him for like 30 minutes at the police station

I always though he was innocent until he got arrested for arm robbery.. he probably said to them I'll confess to you I did murder them but I don't want anybody else to know so he turns himself in and they all make up this arm robbery/ kidnap allegation to have a reason to put him behind bars for good, I guarantee you that's what happened.

you should be movie writer, very original thinking. (but i could 99.9% say that's not what happened, original thought though) him getting caught for armed robbery i don't even think is karma ..people like to believe this... this is just a case of the state wanting to put him in prison so bad that it was just a matter of time. some say that whole arm robbery thing was a set up.....his only escape was to flee and live in a secluded private area. but how does a rich man suddenly reduce himself to live like a poor man when he still has plenty of money....he is still going to have a hard time doing this when he gets out of prison.

A polygraph test should have been done under controlled circumstances. Why polygraph's are not used to determine innocence or guilt is beyond me. Trying to sit a bunch of human beings in a courtroom (all who have different opinions) and getting a judge to reinforce the point that they cannot allow bias to enter their minds when deciding the verdict is ridiculous. Humans don't work that way. Besides that, in the UK (not sure about America) but here, you get a letter in the mail saying you have been summoned for jury duty and you have to take time out of your life, be away from those you love, deal with the burden of sentencing an innocent human being or letting a criminal go free - all for nothing. No money. So, why don't they bring in technology that errases human fallacies rather than continuing with a trial by jury method which is not reliable. I wouldn't trust anyone to be a juror for me if I was on trial for a felony. You don't trust people. They are all individuals and they think differently and often peer pressure and tiredness and annoyance gets the better of jurors and they just agree with everyone else to get home quicker. That's not fair and it's unjust in a civilised country.

Even I don't see the point in putting ordinary citizens on the jury, these people have little to no knowledge of the law and legal concepts, they are filled with biases, and people from different social classes, ethnic backgrounds, levels of education, income will often understand things in different ways.
