I like Robert W. Smith's music a lot. I like how the music starts off in a tumultuous way, then becomes more quiet and peaceful, and then returns for a tumultuous climax. This fits perfectly with "Into the Storm," giving us the imagery of a hurricane with a placid eye. I have noticed this style in other songs of his too, such as "The Great Locomotive Chase" and "Inchon." It is great!!
@Cc0le459 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's true. He made Encanto I think as well which I played, and this, and they have a similar idea
@supercarrson1006 жыл бұрын
this is because, we’ll for this specific song, that in every storm there is an “eye” and in the eye is more peaceful than the outsides. it’s called into the storm because it’s rough, loud and all bad stuff at the beginning, then you reach the eye and it’s all good, then you leave and it’s the same as the first part. hope that makes sense.

I really love this piece. But if I have to say, my favorite measures are 90-105 , I love how the violins in my orchestra play their part beautifully, (kinda wants me to hire them to play at my wedding because it's that beautiful) and then with the cello's (me) part it blends well. And at 104 with the pick up, is just the best!!I also really like 22 to the second best of 42, I love how the cellos and violas combine their parts to make an intense beat. UGH IM IN LOVE WITH THIS PIECE!!! :'^))

Awesome composition! I played flute in middle school for this school and it was a blast, I am now currently a trumpet player, trying to convince my HS band director to distribute this!! lol

I am one of 2 guys playing a flute in the school district. I enjoy playing the flute, but I have a horrible band teacher who said that flutes r not even real Instruments

Trumpets are sooo beautiful when they're used correctly @trumpets don't try to scream notes it hurts your tone a ton...
@MultiAwess8 жыл бұрын
this was literally my fav part to play in band
@TheVideogamesfinest8 жыл бұрын
Draconid Zinnia Your gonna have bad tone of your a brass instrument. When you gotta play high a G super quietly it's kind of hard lol.
@MacMan778 жыл бұрын
Fatty Mcgee Agreed, its very difficult to play that G above the staff quietly
@ezrabutton44837 жыл бұрын
Draconid Zinnia but you have no Idea how hard it is to play quiet for trumpets, I mean they were kinda of made to be loud .3.

I love Robert Smith's works, although they are all really similar, almost as if his portfolio is all one giant symphony.

2:10-4:10 is what it feels like to survive a hurricane or a tornado. How thankful you and your friends are still alive. Now y’all rebuild, maybe batter than before as the story ends on a hopeful note. Then the storm theme plays again.
