Best thing about the community is just that, the community. So many people willing to help each other out and support each other. Least favourite. Trolls, the negativity and drama at times, and the overuse of "PLZ" as well as the self centred impatient people thinking they "need" or "deserve more" subscribers "fast".

The KZbin community seems real. Everything else seems fake. Probably because the whole video aspect of the platform. Same thing with twitch, although it seems like twitch may have a slight edge in the interactivity department.

Favourite thing: The youtube community inspires me so much sometimes and give me that burning passion inside me to keep on grinding! I hate the new requirements, they’re really demotivating for newer creators. Smaller creators are not the problem

That's not a community issue, and if the new requriements are demotivating.... I'm going to be very blunt... they wouldn't be able to handle success if that's all it takes.... try the 300 racist comments in my spam filter, or the 500 bs comments my female creators friends deal with... or the people who outright steal your content or make hateful videos about you out of jealousy... then lets compare that to a very modest platform hurdle....

Katrina, this creator is referring to the psychological/emotional damage of KZbin moving the goal post, and while I understand that seems like a real thing for small creators and I'm sympathetic... its done... it's over with and, they aren't going to eliminate this requirement... it should have been implemented back in 2013, Demonetization day has come and gone, and we all just need to move on and stop talking about how demotivating it is... either people have accepted it and are now going to just work to meet the requirements or their not.... personally I'm just tired of hearing about it and talking about it.... I don't know much more encouragement people need than they've gotten from other creators who are sympathetic... and KZbin is still more advantageous than it's ever been getting started because now there are things that are proven and people giving advice and brands take it serioulsy.... its not experimental.... so I'm just kind of over this particular type of comment at this point...

Roberto Blake like you said in the video, the small chump change gained from a few views sort of validated the possibility of making it big on this platform. But some of us caught in the grey area, be it you have the subscribers but lack the watch time or vice versa, this kind of makes you focus on numbers more than you need to. My favourite thing about KZbin is how many genuine friendships I have been able to build via my Channel especially with adding live content. I have a strong group of content creators and viewers who I connect with most days either through my own lives or someone else’s. My least favourite thing is how much negativity & aggression has seeped into the smaller YT community since last month’s rule change. I find every single day every SM platform I use is bombarded by S4S messages and ppl now target lives to bombard viewers with the same message. I have genuine long-term supporter’s comments frequently ending up in spam so I have no choice but to go through them and wade through the S4S comments or the abusive ones. My other favourite thing about YT is you Roberto of course 😊✨

You are almost there. You are just missing a few basics. 1. Your channel art needs to say what your channel is about. 2. You need playlist and put them on your home page. The description in the title really is very important. This is the problem with people creating short films, the content may be great but if the title isn't descriptive enough or the topic isn't specific the video doesn't get any views. Films rarely have titles that people search for, subsequently the creators conclude that KZbin is deliberately against their content.

I love KZbin's community and focus on being your own boss snd personal branding the only thing I dislike is their lack of communication with subscribers when something goes wrong granted if they get a million requests kinda hard to respond to everyond

Yeah the Analytics Course is going to be really helpful to a lot of people, I wonder if it may be advanced for beginners though, in theory I feel its easy enough to understand but if a beginner hasn't mastered the basics of content creation and doesn't have at least a few months worth of data a a few dozen videos I'm not sure how helpful it will be..

That doesn't scare me. Since getting interested in youtube I have clocked 100's of hours learning about youtube, and how to do it as a business. I will learn. I'm also working to make videos 2 times a week, and am working to get experts (like Gary Vee says reach out to people) who will make more niche videos about autism.

I struggle most with the “find your niche” thing. I think I’m my own niche and while I’m trying my hand at vlogging, I also want to show people tips for cooking, make entertaining videos, reviews and try and make some semblance of short films. I think that attitude is key. Your content should always be getting better, so that by the time you hit 1k subscribers you'll look back and be grateful you didn't have all those subscribers at the start because your old content is so bad compared to your current stuff. :)
