Chat got mom vibes from it. It was in Kansai-ben, maybe it was his mom?! /s 2:16 - 新生活 (shinseikatsu) - New lifestyle. This often accompanies "shinnendo" See below. 2:28 - 新年度 (shinnendo) - New Year. To make it work, I framed it to be like "It's still early in the year" but it actually doesn't mean that. So, this "New Year" is something specific to Japan and some other countries. This describes the start of April, where students begin a new year in a new grade or a new school. Start University. Start their careers after graduating. Get transferred to different positions (Japan does this A LOT. That's how you end up with an old dude as head of cybersecurity who's never touched a computer) and move homes (If they got sent somewhere else). It's a time where a Japanese person's life can change in a big way, so that comes with a lot of worries. Often described as "shinseikatsu" 2:41 - In case you need a time stamp for this part to read it. lol
