he'd compliment Dick on the gimmick, but it would drive him nuts. joker doesn't like getting a laugh when it's at his expense or not on his own terms, a prime example being when terry laughs at him in return of the joker and he goes ballistic. joker is concerned with getting the right kind of laugh. this would hit him like the laugh you get for slipping on a banana peel and falling, a schadenfreude laugh at his expense, as opposed to an ironic laugh at his proving an absurdity or the genuine laugh that you get from actual funny wordplay, etc. Joker prefers to be groucho marx, but at minimum has to be Moe, sometimes Larry, but never Curly/Shemp. it would be the lowest form of laughter to him, and ring sour in his ears. likely why Dick started doing it in the first place if we're being honest. Dick always sort of enjoyed the cat and mouse games and the acrobatics so he's genuinely having a sort of twisted fun, but the fact he has laughtracks ready to go coded to his grenades suggests it's something that comes up often on missions that are more than your average street patrols and require high explosives, IE a joker threat. it drives joker up the wall and draws his focus off of batman.

I think his laugh could be used as misdirection, as you can hear it echoes. You have no idea where he is unless you see him. So it’s actually extra stealthy as you don’t have so be super quiet, or you can misdirect someone with supper hearing such as Super Man.

No falling out just yet just searching for independence. He’s not Nightwing just yet. He’s got too many insecurities for him to be Nightwing. He takes his role as leader of the Titans seriously and is alot more like Batman than he’d like to believe, but he’s still Dick Grayson there and threw
