This is the best comment ever! I didn't know of her and I seen people talking about her in a group on FB. From the comments of everyone I went into watching the movie thinking she killed children or something. I was sickened when I realized who she was and how her her son and grandbaby died. People still hate this woman to this day. I think the most hated woman in the world should be anyone who kills her children or any child killer. Not this woman, not because she believed diff then them. The movie made me cry my eyes out for her. That was some sad shit and she should not be hated over what she believed in. Broke my heart

Remember Robin was born in 1965 & at that time William was drafted into the army & this was at the beginning of the Vietnam War & served 4 years of duty there. Yes Madalyn took care of her during those 4 years. When William came back she refused to give her back & they went to court on this. However William remarried in the seventies & had another daughter named Jade born in 1977!!!!!

I have a feeling that during her time of torture by these ex-convicts, she might have turned to God. I understand that the one ex-con told someone he wanted to twist her toes with a pair of pliers. I think it’s possible she may have cried out to the Lord. The ex-con took Jon Garth to the bank a few times so he could withdrawal the money. I think Madalyn probably prayed and turned to God because there was no one else for her to turn to. It always seemed to me she did know there was a God, but she was mad at Him.

Of course you could be right about Madalyn not calling out to God. David Walters was a mindless man who tortured her for weeks. He told his girlfriend and she testified against him in court. So I’m rationalizing that she could not act out the way she normally would. Now who else could she turn to but the Lord. Then again she traveled to the beat of a different drum, so who knows?

I actually feel very sorry for Robin -- she was a prematurely aged spinster. It was like her very soul was usurped by Madalyn. Yes, she was intelligent, and a diligent worker, but in her photos and on television she came off as being only half-alive, as though crucial components of her personality were missing. To have her speak of human sexuality is bizarre -- she herself was a nun of sorts, with all her emotions bottled up, suppressed. By all accounts, she had no friends, and no life outside of the Madalyn-world. And by way of Madalyn's extreme recklessness, she lost her young life. Really a tragic figure. RIP Robin.

Robin was the daughter of William, her oldest son! She was born in 1965 & William was drafted in the army & went to Vietnam & Madylin took care of her. In 1969 when William came back she refused to give her back & the conflict began over custody of Robin!!

Wonderful to see! The time I knew them all well. Did the cameras for awhile down at Austin public access. Madalyn, Jon and Robin were friends and all helped me in small ways that helped me when I needed help. They were all so nice and had great senses of humor. I don't buy the way Madalyn has been branded--like 'The Most Hated Women in America' has it so half baked ... I wish someone would uncover all of the tapes and get them mastered over to something that will last.
