Rajitha Seneviratne I was one when this came out in 1984 in ireland. I was born mid 1983 in ireland. I came across this series on a UK channel itv3 in 2003 when it was repeated. I fell in love with the show. Have it on dvd, blu-Ray, have some of the books from the series, all the 2016-2020 audio tales of it and all but one of the new books brought out about the series. Look up spiteful puppet on fb and their website. They got all the original cast who are still alive to do audio tales of the show. Some of them happen between series, some set after. They have books too. Well worth it.

Just learned Paul Knight (producer) of seasons 1 & 2 died august 2020. Paul was integral to the look and feel of the show - without his input we would have ended up with a very different RoS. He contributed to the visual style of the series and selection/placement of music within each story. I never met him, but I will always be grateful for his efforts on Robin of Sherwood.

I didn't know. RIP. Paul was apparently a former musician and the one we have to thank for Clannad's involvement. Seems to have been a producer who listened to the directors/writer. I did think he produced season 3 as well, but maybe he left with Michael Praed?

Sicher ARD oder ZDF, zu der Zeit hatten wir nur CH TV Deutsch / FR / Ital und mid ARD und ZDF kamen wir auf 3 deutschsprachige Sender, ab so 88 kamen dann ORF 1 u 2 (hatten die besten Filme), und gegen Ende der 80er gings dann bergab mit Bauernsoftsex Filmen auf Sat 1 und Tutti Frutti auf RTL. Ich mag Erdbeeren 😂 Kirschen auch

Wonderful programme, well written and acted. Both Praed and Connery were superb as Robert/Robin Hood as were the rest of the cast. Dialogue between the Sheriff and Gisborne was amazing. Watch it regularly on the repeats, truly wonderful...
