Would love to know what the sample name is in the Akai for the snare sound. I need to know quickly so I can watch more cat videos.

take your plain vanilla 909 snare with not too long a decay. Pitch it to match the pitch that you're hearing. That is your snare sound. In this particular case it's not going to matter whether it comes out of the older or newer Akai. Don't get too hung up on that. Unfortunately a lot of people get fixated on minutia and never get anything done. Don't be that guy. Now go back to watching cat videos. :-)

Great work! For the distorted organ stab, it's very likely that Stonebridge simply used the factory preset 96 Mono Synth (with the internal delay/effects bypassed). Just like in your example, the Mono Synth preset also uses the Digital 1 oscillator sample.

Please, please, please could you do Haddaway what is love? I believe the organ sound can be found on O1w, and the bass is lately bass. The pads might be Juno 106, but the intro pulse width sound could be Juno-1. Would be good to hear a breakdown and explanation of sounds, eg the main synth arp ❤

I don't think I've used any Arturia synths for Eurodance stuff. Everything is a blend of hardware synths (as much as possible, few exceptions aside), AKAI CDs and Logic content. Drums are mostly AKAI content. Zero G in particular. ~Hedge

I have no inside info. Did an A/B yesterday using a different setup and picked up a few more things. Me getting carried away with chords on the second organ part for one. And some automation on the original. Now I have to say SSL. Whereas if you asked me just a few days ago, I was convinced that the original (her vocal track) and the remix were worlds apart in terms of the setups used. Whatever M1 and AKAI went through sounded more like a small studio mixer. Like a 12/02. Now I’m not sure.
