Great video as always Rob, its great to see meals mostly done at home rather than just a bunch of fast food, much more informative, and since I've started my cut last month I can get some ideias. Hey Rob I hope you see this, basically I’m currently cutting also. The diet I’m currently following to cut is a 1000kcal diet with the macros being 95% fat and 5% Protein with zero carb! I’m also taking 2000mg test with 3000mg of tren. Would you recommend?

Most body builders substitute milk with water for their porridge etc, should you avoid dairy on a cut? Have cereal and coffee with milk everyday haha so just curious wether I should avoid milk on my cut

I cut on 150 carb 150 protein and 32 fat worked it out myself I’m 17 and weigh 59kg seems low compared to rob, am I too low or is it just personal preference. It’s around 1450 calories

Dylan Byrne probably too low, you’ll be more likely to get really hungry and binge eat on calories that low, maybe go for 2000, see how you go, slow and steady is better most of the time!

alfield29 yea I agree it does seem very low, been cutting like this for about 2 weeks I can see some progress but not much I’m worried about muscle retention so maybe upping calories isn’t a bad idea

Dylan Byrne sounds good to me mate, you’re more likely to lose primarily fat with higher calories, so you’ll get to your goals quicker if that makes sense 👍

Do you just focus on your macros and make sure your calories are low enough to be in a deficit?

Finlay Hague so what you wanna do is make sure you eating high protein. However much you weigh, also for carbs let’s say you weight about 200lbs I would aim to consume 260-270 carbs if you are trying to lean. But if you are a heavier guy let’s say 230, I would say aim for about 300 carbs also fat can vary always should aim around 60-70 then play with it a bit. But for calorie wise I would say start maybe @ 2800ish maybe even 3000. But start decreasing it as you go progress

I'm stuck on way too low calories as I had to drop weight fast for a fight, is it possible to like "reset" my cutting calories by like going into maintenance for a while then start again on higher calories?

Depends for how long you have been on this low calorie diet? And if your metabolism has adapted completely. If so reverse dieting is a good option check it out
