Don't know if you knwo this, but I discovered that you can hide from the rain by hugging a closed door. That really helps me not accidentally fumbling it. Either way this run is insane. You should do a video on how to be as fast as you! I'd really like getting into speedrunning this peak

mane what's the logic for jumping? like i slide a bunch on every stair and shi for movement but like if im not surrounded by stairs i usually don't slide i just spam but i see you and other people jumping sometimes, is it just for like some time of momentum or? also shouldn't you always slide down stairs? i did see a thing about like jumping over stairs instead but i feel like that'd lose you speed no idea

I think that if you jump while sliding you can conserve momentum

Spamming the slide button gives you a little bit of speed, at the begening of the slide you actually go a little bit faster and when you jump you keep the momentum if you hold the slide button in while being in the air. For jumping over the stairs is just waste of speed tbh if you want to go asfast as possible then allways slide on the stairs instead of jumping over them.

@@Navi_theprotogen the thing is because there's so many obstacles (or i have dog rng) i feel like it might be better to spam outside of the stairs

@@cZEoUSw after enought practice you will be able to slide or jump past obstacles (the walls and slightly elevated walls.) And for the entity's the snake(the white tentacles idk what the name of it) gives you roughtly 2 to 1.5 seconds to advance before you step aside (from my experience.) And for the pink eye thing you just want to find an hiding spot asfast as possible right? For the red rain and the smiley you are basically forced to stop somewhere and wait they pass but both of them can give you a little bit of time (around 2 to 1.5 seconds like the snake.) Soo you can still advance and then stop and crouch for the smiley and stan below smth for the red rain. Btw when the snake passes you can practically slide trhiught his body soo you don't need to wait for him to go away to continue advancing.
