i have no idea why roblox is facing a lawsuit for this when they cant do anything at all there are so many blackmarket/gambling websites and it isnt easy to just shutdown or bring a website down its a whole process that costs time and money and honestly isnt worth it for the amount of money they are gonna have to spend on legal fee's and other things

Sending a cease and desist is inexpensive, most people won't fight it, and Roblox had a revenue of nearly a billion dollars last quarter. Find a better excuse.

The entire reason why sending cease and desist letters to condo game owners was successful is because there were not that many people dedicated to spreading condo games across the platform, especially if they aren’t gaining any profit from it. When you compare it to a gambling website that can potentially make you millions, not only is it much easier to create a gambling website than creating a condo game, where you have to make bypasses and etc. And true, most people won’t fight it, but even if they do send lots of cease and desist letters to these gambling websites, there is nothing that stops people from just making gambling websites more hidden or harder to find. It also doesn’t help that there are over 300, if not more, of these websites, and it’s not only gambling websites; there are many other websites that take advantage of people. There are likely over more than 1,000 websites that can take advantage of people. These websites will begin to morph and evolve into better concealment methods, if not already. Even if Roblox manages to take down the sheer amount of these websites, new websites will spring back up, especially since the website owners can earn millions from it. The process of taking out all these websites would take years. If they want to take down all of these websites and eradicate them, they need a long-term strategy. Cease and desist letters and DMCA claims just won’t cut it.
