So the direction to this maze is a bit easy if you actually memorized the map itself and Sama's pattern. At the entrance, go right, go left, turn right and then left. At this point, there's a safe room where you can stay at and listen carefully for Sama's footsteps and hums. You can also peek the corner of the direction you're gonna have to go through (which leads left) from the room. If the footsteps and hums sound very distant, dash to the left and then turn right. The very first thing you're gonna see as soon as you turn right is a large space on your right that leads to the butterfly spirit garden. There's also a safe room in this spot so you can just do the same thing, listen for Sama's footsteps and hums OR you can just peek through the corner. You might have to distance yourself away from the room and then peek on the corner. I've tried this and Sama didn't really see me (people usually choose to go back to the entrance and go for another route but for me, this worked better since it's easier to track Sama's pathway). As soon as you saw her go to the left, sprint, turn right, immediately go left, go left and then right. At this point, you're gonna have to watch out for a safe room that you can stay at. If Sama walked past to the right, do not leave the room yet since the direction she went actually leads to the exit. As soon as you saw her walk past heading to your left, wait for her footsteps to fade then sprint and go right. Run straight, turn left and immediately go right. Go to the safe room near the exit if you don't wanna risk getting killed by Sama because at this point, she's about to head back to the exit. As soon as she's done roaming the exit, leave the room with the butterfly equipped in your hand and ta-da, congratulations, you finally finished chapter 2.

Seeing where sama goes in the safe house is the most safe way to do it since looking in the corners are dangerous as she can see you. This is fine to do at the second safe house on the right side you were talking about as it is a long hallway and she can’t see you but in short hallways like the big hallway leading to the spirit garden is not safe to peek out or corners as the spirit garden hallway is a path of Sana’a AI

Hello! I finished the mimic yesterday and i want to say that its more hard than it looks,finding spirits was very hard and you had to risk yourself to get the spirit! If anybody needs the direction for the garden with the spirit here it is. From the ENTRANCE. Take a right then go up right and up to the safe house you first see if the lady is near by. Go straight until you hit the wall and take left down right and you should be at the garden or near it. Hope this helped,
