The SickNeeds why would you be? Everyone on earth has at least one or several people they don’t get along with. And even though there were quite a few Axl didn’t get along with, it wasn’t necessarily always his fault. For example Kurt started the GNR vs Nirvana feud.

So, after Duff left GnR, he went to Seattle University and got a bachelors in business. He himself said he had no idea about music until he went to college. Sit there for a minute and imagine what it was like to take music theory classes with him.

He talks about in his book, in his accounting classes, he would take copies of his own financial statements with all names white'd out, and ask the professor different questions, and "hypotheticals." He said the professor and asked why this young guy in his early 30s had multi-million dollar financial statements and caught on who he was. He said a few times people brought him records to sign and it kind of blew his cover, which he said made him feel uncomfortable, and he said he had to address that he was there as a student not a rocker. I think he said college was the only time in his life he went by his birth name Michael and not by Duff.

I heard it was something to do with a Catholic college that he attended. I would've thought he'd have a good accountant to take care of his business matters. Maybe he just wanted to go to college in the end.

@@glennoc8585 No. I mean, imagine being a student in a random music class, and the student next to you is from one of the greatest rock bands in history trying to learn theory with everybody else. That would absolutely blow me away. "Oh, so that's a flatted 7th."

They were rivals and even were fighting for a while and here they are on a couch enjoying playing music together. Duff was one of the last people to see Kurt alive. Peter Steele of Type O Negative was actually taller than both of them. He was 6'8. Joey Ramone was 6'6. They are both 6' under now sadly.

When I watch Kris, Dave and Pat do these jam sessions with random musicians I often close my eyes and think of a world where Kurt was still alive and Navana was still going strong , I often think of the evolution of the music they would have experienced in the last 2 decades , I understand that the foo fighters would never have been but I think the price would have been worth it
