Awesome!! My LDS sometimes rotates and sometimes doesn't. It really worked!! And only costed one USB cable!! Note: USB cable may contain 4 wires inside, and just use the red and black wires.

What did you use to put the black and red wires to the power source? How did you connect wires to the unit to jump start it? It seems like this was skipped on the video?

Thanks for the help, it worked with a battery jump start, but the really issue starts later, it gives the same error after every second use. I jump start again and it works. Do you think changing the motor will help or?

I recall to remove most of the screws, I used a normal Philips screwdriver. But to remove the motor, I had to use a small but sharp flat blade screwdriver. Not Philips screwdriver.

Thanks for your instruction video. First attempt on the jumpstart the motor run and when I installed it it gave me the same error ad didn't work. After that I tryed again but then a longer jumpstart and with succes!! The roborock works but I still get the noisy sound. I think I should replace it anyways. Thanks for the video!!

Can't unscrew the 2 screws at the motor, the cave is so shallow and the material is so fragile..

You need to use a mini or micro screwdriver. Not a normal sized screwdriver.

I bought a new a motor and installed it. When testing, however, although it begins to spin, the machine doesnt start moving and gives the same message error 1...

Oh dear. Previously, did it spin? If previously, the motor was aleady spinning, then the fault may be with the laser and not motor.

For those who already done this, and still got error.. a silly basic thing I didn’t realize is that the silicone belt band should be inside the LDS and not outside.
