Roborock filter blocked or wet error 10 fixed!

This information should be a part of the maintenance instructions from Roborock! Not only did that error go away, but now my vacuum picks up 100x more dirt and dust. I was ready to toss the vacuum in the garbage and now it runs like new! Thanks for the video!

Oh man, thanks so much! I also replaced my filter and still got the message which brought me here. In this hole there was a 5mm thick round pad of dust blocking this metal mesh. Vacuum works 10 times better now, THANK YOU!

This really helped! Even even claimed this error to the manufacturer and they never mentioned to clean this. Now after cleaning the filter shown in the video, the suction power is a lot better + the error report. Now Roborock S7 cleans as it was new. Thank you very much :)

Oh my goodness I could marry you. As soon as I cleaned that little bit, the change in suction power and even the sound was way better. Sounded like a functional product again! Let’s see if it keeps that way for awhile. I used a small bristle brush to clean the filter. Worked like a charm.

This seems to have worked to fix the problem. The roborock help doesn't mention this ANYwhere I could find. I thought it was just a bad filter, so I bought a new one, and it immediately said filter was dirty. I was like this is impossible, it's brand new! Thank you for the solution!

Huge thanks from my side as well! You souls report it to the Roborock. They listen to these suggestions :) One added minimal effort tip: when you’re done with all these, use a high power vacuum cleaner to suck out everything it can, not that you’ve moved around stuff

Thank you soooo much! I was wondering what was wrong with my s7, it didn't clean any dirt anymore, just rolled over it and spread it evenly 😅. I changed the filter and had no clue why the device kept saying the filter is blocked. I took my 'analogue' vacuum cleaner and cleaned my robot from inside and outside and it works properly again! You just saved me the trouble and costs of taking my device to the shop to have it fixed. Great job!

Not only does it get rid of the error, but quite logically, the suction power improves as well. I've noticed the suction power has decreased, but I was not able to prove it, was just my feeling, This solved it, you can hear it immediately, I am using the roborock most of the time on max power and the sound difference is noticable - THANK YOU!

Thank you very much! The simplified version that worked in my case (S6): use a dust cleaner spray and blow out the outlet openings (first from outside, later maybe also from inside). Or, if you have a suitable old-style vacuum cleaner, try to suck out the (from inside).

thank you for sharing your advice! i tried your simplified version just a few minutes ago on my s6 because that error 10 notification was driving me nuts. i blew the outside openings myself (without dust cleaner spray) and then sucked out everything with an old style vacuum cleaner on max power output. i also took out that dust cabin and did the same underneath and where that filterstyle-net begins. first test has been successful - no error message. thank you very much!

wow. I have been changing my filters a million times all for no reason. Thanks. On the Model 6 max, it is even more complicated to get it clean, because they put a piece of plastic grid in front. I will cut those away with some plyers

Thanks a million! I have another annoying error. Almost each time the S7 starts working, I get an error 2, bumper stuck, even when there’s nothing in it’s path/way. I reached out to Roborock about it and never got an answer. Even sent it to the lab without a solution. It’s an amazing device but it has it’s flaws which is a pity.
