So one year later the draining has failed. However this is not related to the drain kit. Opened the unit and found that the vacuum pump has failed. There are rubber valves in the pump head and over time they have slowly degraded and eventyally teared. The part number is CJVP28-AB12C9. Here some pictures: imgur.com/a/lt53W0w

Great video, thank you! Am I current that there is a pump built in for the drain line? I'd like to know if it can pump water from the machine to a slightly higher elevation, or if it can only pump downwards with gravity.

yes, there definitely is some kind of a pump. I disconnected the drain line and put it in a bucket to see what happens and the flow was quite strong

customer service said it can pump for up to 50cm but recommended height is 30cm

running for 2 weeks, currently no issues... since my wife runs the robot twice a day, it was getting frustrating to change the water all the time ... now it just works and I don't have to do anything ... well, except clean the water filter on the base :)

@@himawanwite you can switch on/off the automatic drying in app and set 2/3/4 hours for drying duration. The dryer auto-starts when robot docks if you have it set to “on”.

I bought the drying Part from Germany, that is probably why there is no DC output. The water Station is from aliexpress, one of the first results with fast shipping to Germany

might be that you will need to just pay VAT... I got the package and it was labeled as $1.8 :D no wonder that they hold it and examine ... it just does not make sense that a box this large could be $1.8 worth with free shipping

@@evilworm84 In EU(Germany) they have a problem about the missing CE certificate and german manual.... The customs employee declared it as a electrical drinking water dispenser :D They want to protect the consumer marked against Dangerous electrical stuff. I will see if they let it through or not. From which seller did you bought yours?
