Beautiful yard and neighborhood Cleveland. Automation has come a long way. I pay my lawn care guy $80/month but that also includes edging, weed eating and trimming my hedges. It would take 3 years for the Luba2 to pay for itself and I would have to begin edging, weed eating and trimming my hedges so this wouldn't be a good fit for my needs.

Thanks, Michael! Wow, that’s pretty much the weekly price in my area, so it definitely adds up quickly. I’m used to doing everything myself at our previous house, so having to only trim/hedge isn’t a big deal for me.

$80/month?!? A single mow costs almost as much in my area...

It's pretty cool. Just wonder how reliable it'll be in the long run. If it can last 4-5 years it's good IMO. Other regular mowers I've had don't last much longer... something always fails and it's not worth the cost of repair or impossible to repair,...

Robotic lawn mowers are designed to run every/every other day. Then the clippings are so small that the fall to the ground and break down without creating any issues. The problem you describe only comes when you only let it mow 1x a week.

Or when it’s run for the first time. I completely agree that its strength is in maintenance. The problem I have with it running that often is that the tracks will likely eventually damage the lawn

@@ThaVillaManisn't this model able to change the cutting pattern from mow to mow in order to prevent that from happening?

I have the Luba 1 and the solar panel adapter. There are no instructions for attaching the adapter to the Luba 1 RTK. Does anyone have the install instructions? It would be much appreciated.

I wonder how well it does on bumpy, hilly, uneven grounds

I have a bumpy (dumped dirt) section that I designated as no-go. If the drop off is too much it could get stuck

I do. We have to make sure it’s picked up regardless of how it’s being mowed. We use this with some small trash bags amzn.to/4d6ONGS

@@ThaVillaMan too weak for when the grass is too much. Then you will also need to have a "normal" mower !

I had that too. All I did was increase the frequency of the mowing. 🤷🏾♂️

@@ThaVillaMan Yes, let it go and mow ! As I don't have this kind of mower but I see it with my brother.. He's so neat to his automatic mower.. The mower is not allowed to mow the wet grasse early in the morning when the grass is wet form the dew,... And for sure not in the rain.. He sais the mower gets very dirty in wet grass. When it rains it he shuts the mower off with the app or the one taht doesn't have an app by hand. and the mower is constricted to too small periods during daylight (dry grass).. And then the grass grows a litlle too high and the ,ittle knives can't keep up. And there's my brother is going again walking behind the motormower.. I think he just likes that as a time-passer.. A few times a week.. hahaha
