Vinegar is an acid. After a while this affects the pump and the tank. The Braava M6 costs $440 in my area. I'd rather buy the prescribed product

There is people in the world that can get the device (cause is an electronics) but not the liquid product (cause is a chemical), so we have no option but to make one for ourselfves. BUT... you're right about the Acetic Acid.

This will work for a while, but it will cause the rubber and plastics in your expensive robot mop to break down and cause premature failure. It might take a few months or more to cause a problem but there is a reason they tell you not to add any type of cleaner. Do you honestly believe they would not want to sell you a cleaner solution if one could work and maintain reliability? I am curious, this is about 18 months, how is you machine working so far, or is it?

@@PinkFlowers365 FYI, turns out Roborock does recommend and sell a cleaning fluid concentrate to add to the water for this machine. It is called OMO Roborock Floor Cleaner it is highly concentrated, the ratio is supposed to be 300 to 1. I bought some and can recommend it.

This guy tell the truth. I used vinegar it broke quickly at the 3thd time I used my robot. It came back 1 year after somehow, I will never use vinegar or something hard now. But I do not want to use expensive shit aswell.

Idk about that Robots maybe but in things like tinecoe vacmop, I know they work for years. I've even heard of people using bleach with no issue. The main thing to stay away from is Suds which gums everything up. Regular you just use less or just use the alchohol. If you using mr.clean or something only use a tiny cap because again the suds is what gums everything up. But other than that if you contact the company yourself that is what they tell you to make, Just without the soap & alchohol.

Maybe don’t add the vinegar and you’re solid. An affordable mop solution, even watered down, could do the trick. Water does most of the work with this robot anyway

This is a VERY BAD idea! Robotic mops need a cleaning solution that is neither Alkaline nor acidic, doesn’t contain foaming agents, or ammonia. The best solution is to use detergents designed for other electronic floor cleaners like the Bissell Crosswave, Karcher or Hoover SpinScrub. Mild enzyme floor cleaners should be fine too

Using vinegar in anything with rubber gaskets will eat away at the gaskets and ruin it.

Is Everyone on here including the guy who did the video totally brain dead or what ? Vinegar will destroy your seals in your robot mop or vac mop . Read all the comments. Don't use anything other than what the product manufacturer recommends!!!
