These are pretty damn cool. I purchased a Roomba 3 years ago and I love that thing. I I've also learned that preventative maintenance on these type of things are critical to its performance I don't have one of these lawnmowers but I definitely want one

You should put a “pirate patch” over Hank’s missing 👁 eye. 😂

One thing to consider. You mentioned striping with regard to the path of the mowers. In the short run it doesn’t matter. In the long run it does! This will lead to trenching especially when the ground is wet! One gardeners’ trick is make each new pass at a 45degree angle! If you can make the robots adapt would be almost awesome! This would make the great job look even better!
@Narrowayhomestead2 ай бұрын
When the mower weight is so low trenching is hardly an issue. But its easy to shift the pattern a little

2 things come to mind, neither completely mower related but a bit. I was at a funeral yesterday with no room left inside our 11th century church so, to distract myself, I started really studying -again - the uneven and very varied stones it was built from. Most of them, I think, come from people clearing the land for agriculture and putting what was an annoyance to good use. A friend has sheep that 'mow' a field they added to their property that had been left unused for several years. Lucky me got gifted the fleeces to learn to spin with. There was so much more vegetal matter in the 1st year's fleeces than in the second as the sheep (and goats) have cleared the field of 'nasties'. Such an interesting evolution.

🤔 I live near a high school that got a bunch of lawn roba’s and I was originally worried that they might be trying to replace all the grounds keepers & then 100 degree days became common & those little guys don’t seem to be bothered at all. They are hilarious when they get themselves stuck though 🤣👏🏻💕🙏🏼

Nate Yr soil looks brutally hard clay. I'm guessing it was only recently freed from the woodland. Btw your pond was always a DOOZY!! Do you plan to part it into fallow strips for growing? A few years ago I built a 6x8x2 planter and bought the cheapest and nasty building site soil to fill it. A few pioneering crops and a doggie digested has turned that soil into something you can literally smell goodness in!! The magic though was worms plucked from the lawn and removeed to the planter. You could so easily turn your plot into a real food source so easily. Just need to turn that soil. Btw parsnips are amazing earth movers and spliters 😅😅😅
