As a fan of the classic RW (series 1-7) I seriously tried with this reboot, but god did the f*ck this up. The word that comes to mind is ''soulless''. No vibe/atmosphere, boring arena, way too much focus on drama and on the people, no more Craig Charles, fights are now just random nonsense, no more rules like with Reff Bot, and worst of all, no more iconic music! This is only Robot Wars in name and the fact that (some of) the house robots are here. I'm not surprised they canceled it, but if they did it in the same passionate and honest way as series 1-7, it could've easily worked with how advanced the bots are now (just look at Battle Bots, which is still pretty much the same show but more advanced). Rip Robot Wars, my childhood!

When I'm typing in the results of this series, I have the robot names in three colours. Names that are green and bold mean they qualified, names that are amber mean they lost, but are not out which also goes for the playoff winners and the names that are red with a line on them mean they're eliminated.

@@j4imejustj4ime33 And he's using Warhead in Battlebots as of now. Lost the iconic disc to Warrior Clan, so they only have the dragonhead left. Warhead has actually been doing quite nicely for itself. You should see its epic win over Complete Control in ABC's season 2.
