Guys, before you buy the course I advise you to fully learn how to work shader nodes, because in the lesson about it zero information.The author just says what he does and you need to repeat after him.A beginner in all this is very easy to get lost and quit the course halfway through (I had this happen).I'm not saying that the course is bad, but it is better to prepare yourself so that your butt does not burn)

I've been wanting a good hard-surface course for a while, and I like the results shown in this teaser! I do have to say though, that it's kinda disappointing to see that it's not leveraging addons (e.g. BoxCutter, HardOps, etc.) not only to simplify and expedite the workflow, but because at this point they're pretty much considered The Way to do hard-surface modeling in Blender. I understand the desire to avoid using paid addons, but in this case I do feel that it significantly undermines the course unfortunately. Hopefully, in the future the course can be expanded to have the existing manual-with-modifiers approach as the "intro to hard-surface" section, and an addon-powered "pro hard-surface" section. Of course, there isn't just one hard-surface addon, so that choice may be a bit tricky unless you go with separate sections on BC/HOps, Fluent: Power Trip, Rantools, etc., etc.)
