Actually I would recommend spending the money on a nice amp. Then, you play at max volume to attract a noise complaint. Then, you knock out the policeman and sell their organs so that you can afford this pedalboard

@@0c00l I don't remember but it had similiar style graphics and gameplay mechanics. I seem to remember it was like "backyard bmx" it wasn't like professional looking, it was like dirty and seedy like how street skating games are in the early 2000s. It was fun and the game doesn't take itself too seriously it had a sense of humor that I loved. Crazy that i cant remember the name of it. It may have not been on ps2 but I'm pretty sure it was. I seem to remember you could customize your character and make funny looking riders. But again i could be blending that memory with another game. Oh yeah and i remember playing so much coolboarders 2 and then 3 when they came out. They was fun too. I loved the night stages.
@the_original_Bilb_Ono5 жыл бұрын
@ChrisHallett83 yeah i looked up bmx xxx after I read your comment and that's the one I use to play!!! My mom didn't think I was mature enough for some of the humour but I talked her into buying it used eventually. I still have my original ps1 and ps2 from my childhood. I got my ps1 (or psx it's called now) for Christmas in 1998 and got a few games. I think spyro and crash bandicoot was my first two. But later I got metal gear solid and it blew my mind. At that time i had only played Sega and atari games. I never knew games could be so long and immersive. Those memories up late with my brother playing mgs with the window open in the summer at like 1am with the bugs chirping is such a nostalgic and vivid memory. Sorry for the off topic rant lol but yeah thanks. That is the game. I remembered the sound effect of the menu and select sound to this day.

Ok but what if you changed the conventional pedal layout order and moved all of the high noise floor effects to the end of the chain instead of the beginning? Like move all the synthy effects, compressors, etc. all to the end? You might be able to possibly get a usable sound out of everything else like your boost/distortion pedals first, then modulation pedals next, and _then_ put compressors and stuff at the end. It would probably sound like total chaos, but quite a possibly a _usable_ chaos lol. Idk, just a thought I had. Cool video!

You've just inadvertently made an old-school industrial album. =) You should totally make a sample bank out of some of the weird sounds made just by the signal chain (never mind playing, although making a few samples/loops from that would be cool too), and you could make some good bank. dude seriously, I'm sick of using velcro tape
@whynottalklikeapirat4 жыл бұрын
@@jamesblond516 Yeah, kinda. It's usually either too weak or too strong or the large sections get your loop system permanently stuck- or the glue gets dusty or comes undone due to heat, or it rips the specs stickers or padding on the bottom of the pedals so you can't document that theyre vintage, or it won't stick to the rubber or metal surface or you have to remove little feet from your pedals so the two strips of velcro can connect, and they get lost so you get paid less when sell them later on and you spend an inordinate amount of time cutting strange little custom pieces to fill in weird grooves and crevices on individual pedals and you still can't get to the battery compartment, and it leaves gooey muck when finally removed that mixes with bar room floor grease and debris creating a portable habitat for entirely new lifeforms ... velcro ... what a joy it is ... :P
@jamesblond5164 жыл бұрын
@@whynottalklikeapirat half the time even with glue it doesn't stick because of the stupid rubber on the bottom! I've genuinely thought of just gluing the pedals straight to the board just so I don't have to deal with them anymore, but then I can't change which ones I have on there. The joy of music, ey?
@whynottalklikeapirat4 жыл бұрын
@@jamesblond516 Exactly - tubescreamers usually won't strick because of that rubber, nor will the fuzz face minis. Then they came out with a sort of interlocking system for musicians that was thicker and had big interlocking plastic "hairs" and a stronger glue - but that made the pedals near impossble to change and it was expensive ... some days I just want to drive a railroad spike through each pedal
