Replacing Windshield Washer Nozzles Honda Civic 2016 - 2021

One of my nozzles came out of the slot and I couldn’t figure out how to get it back. This video was huge help, took less than 30 secs. Thanks a bunch!

My mom told me the nozzle on the passenger side was not spraying. I was troubleshooting it and took it off, thought soaking it in water would clear it. It wasn’t the nozzle b/c I decided to swap the driver & passenger side and the problem still exists. Do the hoses get clogged???

They can. Squirt it a couple times with the nozzle off and that should clear up any issue. Another likely issue is a kinked hose. Make sure it’s not kinked or pinched. Good luck!

Great vid. For anyone watching the Civic Type R FK8 nozzle fitment is slightly different. The tabs are inside the bonnet/hood. I had to replace the drivers side nozzle and to be honest, I had to use brute force and a flat head screwdriver to get it out.

I just took mine out and soaked in strong detergent for a few days and they've been fine for years since. They didn't appear blocked but they wouldn't spray properly. I was also surprised it worked.

@@robsgaragewoodworkin update*** I bought the parts. I’ve a 2017 1L vtec turbo civic. Scotland. I tell you something, they take some getting off! Probably the originals, man I couldn’t twist it, plus I was laying over the full engine to reach 🤣. I had to resort to prizing the end of the rubber tube loose. The right hand side one the pipe was very short, I had to hold the new part in my teeth so once I pulled the old one off I couldn’t let go or the pipe would’ve sprung up into the hood! 🤣 Anyway they work a treat. This was a real world story 🤣👍🏻 I noticed the old ones the part that does the misting wasn’t there, it was just a hole in each. Strange. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I think they froze which caused the issue. I didn't put in the winter washer fluid on time...

Couldn’t see the most important part-how to place them! Both of mine came out in the last ice storm! Can’t figure out how they fit into the slots!😓

Yeah it's hard to see. Just before the edge there is a ridge that the nozzle body fits in. Align the nozzle body to the ridge and roll the other side up until the release tab snaps into place. You should be able to expand the video on your computer or play it on your big screen TV for a better view. Good Luck! Cheers! Rob
