Jay, you have it nailed. I have seen them perform and they do all the Motown dance moves when they sing. They, along with groups like the Spinners and the Temptations and the Coasters, etc., have led to the more modern acapella groups such as Pentatonix and Home Free. All of these groups had great harmonies and gave us some of the best music ever recorded.

Back in 2004, I took my mom to a 70’s Soul Explosion Show, with The Manhattan’s, Blood Stone, Chi-Lites, Delfonics and The Stylistics, great concert. I grew up in suburban Denver, started seriously listening to the radio about 1971. Heard all kinds of music played(shout out to KTLK, KIMN, KXKX, KBPI, and KADX), it wasn't unusual to hear Grand Funk, followed by The Spinners, followed by Elton John. A GREAT era for music!!
