Y'all talking about the cornrows, um, Stevie Wonder was rocking the look in the late 1970s. (His 1980 album, "Hotter Than July," shows him sporting them.) And, take a look at Peaches & Herb from 1979 to 1982. The "Peaches" of that era--Linda Greene--sported the style (check out performances for songs like "Reunited," "Shake Your Groove Thing" and "Roller-Skatin' Mate"). And, um, then there's always the legendary "10" herself--Bo Derek.

I'm guessing Jordan wouldn't be able to handle "Nasty Girl" by Prince's proteges _Vanity 6_ . 🤔 "Pretty Mess"? "Darling Nikki?" I don't think I've ever suggested either of those. 😄 Amber, a lot of girls and women had a head full of beads on their braids like hers when I was little. When I was around eight years old and had hair down to my waist, my mom put a _lot_ of beads in my braids. They were heavy, and I only had about half of what this singer has. I put a few in my niece's braids last summer and she loved it, but I didn't know if she would, so I only put four on each braid. I'll be braiding it again and adding a lot more. 🙂

He got into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the last five years for his contribution as a producer. His initials are N. R. There's your clues. Check out " La Chic". So much fun.
