I was at this video shoot. My father was friends with a band member (R.I.P. Kevin Falvey) and arranged to meet Joe prior to the shoot in a private setting. He signed a promo photo for me. Was very polite to me and appreciated my interest in what I would see later at the video shoot. Very sweet man. Got to tour around the room and check all the instruments out. There was a track that went around the entire band that the cameraman rode on to get the footage. It was an amazing day with my father and the legend himself, Mr. Cocker. One of the best memories of my life!

You need listen to Joe Cocker walk into a bar late at night and rattle the dust and floorboards as he absolutely smokes the place with his rendition of the Ray Charles classic, UNCHAIN MY HEART. He brings soul, grit and just enough gospel to call it home, before leaving the dust to settle in his tracks as he leaves. And his sideman isn't half bad either. And if want to get back to his roots, FEELIN' ALRIGHT and THE LETTER are great numbers.

There will only ever be one Joe Cocker! Artists were honored when Joe would cover their songs. If you like this, I would like to recommend another fun song. Would I Lie to you by the Eurythmics. Annie Lennox's voice will blow you away.

I remember laughing it up in the bar with friends years ago to this song. So much fun. The girls giving us that cute crooked eye look. Good memories.

@@7gelis Yes. But I would really like to vote for "You don't Bring Me Flowers" Neil Diamond and Barbra Streisand. Maybe her best duet.

Also by Randy Newman! Bonnie Raitt does the best cover of it, in my opinion, but there are very many good ones

Joe Cocker always puts his soul into all his songs. Speaking of Trumpets, I can't remember if you have done a reaction to the Group "Blood Sweat and Tears" but you should listen to their song "Spinning Wheel" Has a lot of aspects that I know you both will love.

Why is Joe Cocker not in the rock hall of fame? My wife and I were lucky enough to see Joe a half dozen times, including the Mad Dogs And Englishmen tour w/ Leon Russell and the best studio musicians of the day. Still the best concert I've ever seen. And I've seen hundreds on my 75 years.
