Would you say Kessel is more of a complimentary player, rather than a play-driver? I feel he is both, although he, more-so, is a shooter, and requires a strong play-driving playmaker to excell. He doesn't have that player in Arizona. Tyler Hall may have been that player, but the way Tocchet coaches that team, endorses a defensive style of play.
@nickabbott24924 жыл бұрын

Fun fact: When Chara played in the junior league in Slovakia, his coach tried to talk him out of hockey saying he should rather play basketball or do wrestling because he is never going to become a professional hockey player. So Chara's dad decided to train Zdeno on his own and let that doubting coach know, that his son will make it to the NHL one day.

I'm really glad you mentioned grabners speed how you did. He is the professional version of me and that's exactly how I view him. I was always remarked as the fastest player but was locked down only getting penalty kill time. I was seen as uncommitted. I played varsity and jv for 3 years and played everyday of the week with many days of multiple games and practices. I was seen as uncommitted because I was living basically on my own and had to work full time and couldn't do dryland because I had to go to work after my two practices and worked overtime during summers and missed out of summer camp due to needing to work to afford playing. I made things worse due to my own mental issues. It was a reaction to being treated as an uncommitted player how didn't care. When I was doing everything I could to be there. I've always related to grabner as a player and loved his speed and grind I'm undersized like him but made up for it. My hut team has been grabnerbooty for years
