When King Tur tried to bury and drown Batman, all Batman has to do is pull out his Bat breathing device from his utility belt . Then use his portable Bat ray to escapes the tomb.

It boggles my mind why they haven’t made modern Batman tv series-more hilarious; more bizarre and more outlandish. I’m sure it will be a hit.

You don't want that. Haven't you seen what they did to Scooby Doo? A new Batman series would be nothing more than a modern-day woke garbage fest that would feature trans villains, more pronouns than you can shake a stick at, and more same sex relationships than any TV show ever needed. Or, maybe you do want that...I dunno... But, I can tell you that I don't.

Is it me but at the 3:10 mark or so it looks like the henchmen are quite enamored and focused on robin and his bulge as he lays there tied up, spawled out and helpless..

Just for fun, when you look into the history of this episode, the 'guest' (?) director hated the character of 'Robin', and din't care for Burt Ward. His solution was to have Robin captured & removed from the main scenes, & why Robin has so few lines.

I heard a similar story about a couple of Catwoman episodes, written by Stanley Ralph Ross (who also wrote these King Tut episodes). Ross said that Ward had told him he wanted more to do in future episodes. Ross gave Ward a lot more lines than usual n one Catwoman two-parter (The Cat’s Meow/The Bat’s Kow Tow, directed by James B. Clark, who directed these Tut episodes)-including a couple of Dick Grayson scenes without Bruce Wayne. But according to Ross, Ward complained he had *too* many lines in those episodes. So in the next Catwoman two-parter (That Darn Catwoman/Scat Darn Catwoman), Ross had Robin drugged in the very first scene and off screen for much of the rest (either sleeping off the drug’s side effects or languishing in jail). I think Robin/Dick had less to do in that two-parter than in this King Tut two-parter. From what I’ve read, Ward wasn’t really disliked by any of the writers or directors, but he was pretty inexperienced and became the butt of plenty of jokes, which he apparently handled rather well.

Eagle eyed batfans will recognize the switch next to Tut as the instant Bat costume changer from the 1966 Batman movie as well as Lee Meriwether who played Catwoman in the movie

Sure, I get that this was for kids, but even as a kid, I always wondered why none of these arch criminals just put a bullet in their heads. We were kids, we weren't stupid. And yes, I know that Batman had that electric current thing around his cowl to prevent tampering, but what was stopping them from at least taking Robin's mask off? Once they saw who Robin was, they could easily figure out who Batman was.

@RumbleFish69 they figured since Batman and Robin were dumb enough to fall into their traps and didn't use guns themselves, that it would just be better to contain the dynamic dummies while the evil guys got away. Better than having the Swat Team or Superman or someone like them to put the bad guys away for good.
