Hi Rob that was a very interesting take on feeder links. I like to make up running feeder rigs with a swivel type bead and attach the link to the clip. This is so i can change the length of link, or just run a feeder on the bead or change to a weight adjustable link ledger, but i love those tidy links and will try them out for myself. incidentally i use a couple of grippa stops which kick the twizzled loop out nicely. Please keep the video's coming as I love learning new things like this! Take care of yourself and family in this difficult time. Regards Bill

Bostin video mucca really enjoying the tips your giving much appreciated. How long do u make the twizzled boom level with the bottom of the feeder or just short ta muc
@RobWootton4 жыл бұрын
Cheers Craney , about four inches is about right. It needs to have some stiffness in it to kick the hooklength away 👍

Try my best mate - just in case though - I use a three turn water knot, so have to pull the whole shocker through three times which is a pain but it leaves a lovely little knot

Great video Rob , cant it be used to braid direct? Just Think the line that is used in feeder link can be cut by the sharp braid by rubbing together.....🤔

Hi Rob, good tutorial vid, but one question though, could I ask what size shrink tube you're using, please? Thanks mate.
@RobWootton4 жыл бұрын
either the smallest Korda stuff or the smallest kodex - I’m not sure on diameter (maybe 1.5mm?)

Morning Rob. I have a question,if you don't mind. What's a good catapult.for waggler maggot and caster.there are so many.on the market. Do you make up your own.or use from your sponsors.thanks.
@RobWootton4 жыл бұрын
I use an drennan catapult - the ones with revolving pins and bright green elastic - i shorten the elastic and change the pouch to a nylon one.

hi great vid, would you use a feeder link if your casting say 60 or so meters for bream, thanks
@RobWootton4 жыл бұрын
Cheers, Not for proper bream no- Feeder links do have the tendency to tangle on long chucks and for bigger fish I’m not sure they’re necessary

Is there any situations where you'd use a feeder link on a river? Been using the twizzled boom for a while now it transformed my feeder fishing
@RobWootton4 жыл бұрын
Very rarely as I like to fish for drop backs on a river - maybe when casting a long way downstream it could be useful.
